About Us

Welcome to Lovely Handmade Candles, proudly crafted in Australia. My name is Sam Tink, I'm 22 years old, and I have a passion for creating soy wax candles for my small business. My ambition is to generate enough profit to launch a caravan camping business in Australia with my older brother and eventually pass the management of this candle business to my younger sister once she turns 15, while retaining ownership. Additionally, I commit a portion of my profits to more than three charities, including the Cancer Council, due to my connections with many wonderful individuals battling or lost to cancer; the Sydney West Children's Hospital, where I was on life support for two and a half weeks following a garage fire at the age of two years and nine months; and Suicide Awareness, as I have known family members and others who have sadly taken their own lives, as well as Breast Cancer awareness.

Handmade candles from Australia are now available at prices more affordable than many other candle companies in the country.

One of my aims is to provide a wonderful product that everyone can enjoy, ensuring customers appreciate the value without the stress of high costs, through my small online business. Feel free to browse and discover.

Could you please help my friend's lovely son, Codi Walmsley, by donating?

On Wednesday, 27th November 2024, the Codi family received a phone call that no one wants to receive. Their 15-year-old son was in the hospital due to a work accident at mechanic shop. What was supposed to be a work experience turned into an unfortunate incident with a car radiator, resulting in burns from car radiator fluid on Codi's face, neck, arms, hands, and chest. Currently, Codi is in Melbourne hospital, where he has undergone multiple surgeries but is recovering quite well. However, he will need ongoing skin grafts. Please consider helping his lovely family by donating to support his recovery.

From Sam Tink, who works with Codi's dad, and Codi's dad's lovely partner are not currently working to be by Codi's side during these hard times in the hospital.
